Genevieve Smart co-founded Ginger & Smart in 2002 and was Creative Director and Designer until exiting in 2024. The Australian luxury fashion brand became recognised for its intelligent design, refined craftsmanship and contemporary use of colour, building a strong profile in Australia and internationally. Under her creative leadership, collections were carried by leading global retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue and Browns. The brand operated multiple retail stores across Australia, was known for fashion collections and luxury accessories, and presented collections in Paris and London.
